welcome to this website which is administered by Mr and Mrs S. Green - applicants of a planning application seeking permission for the erection of a self-build home and associated works on land in our ownership adjoining Manor Cottage, Shaw Lane.

 

Following the submission of a six objections which variously contain factually incorrect statements and allegations about both our planning application and ourselves personally, as the applicants, we have written to each of the six objectors in the village to address such and have now uploaded both the written objections we received and our responses for the purposes of transparency and the information and knowledge of other residents in the village.

 

We believe the correspondence demonstrates how in the most part, a close knit group of residents (many members of the Farnham Parish Meeting or otherwise individuals closely associated with members of the Parish Meeting) have acted, unfairly and unjustly, in an attempt to prevent a young family, who have followed due process in all aspects of their planning application, from achieving permission for their first owned, self-build home.

Having followed due process at all times in respect of our planning application, we simply wish for our proposal to be considered and dealt with fairly and on the basis of true facts and evidence, which is something we believe everyone deserves, as a matter of natural justice, but unfortunately, is something we have not experienced to date, as a result of, in our opinion, the unscrupulous actions of a small group of members of the Farnham Parish Meeting and other closely associated residents.
